Pillars Memory Care Fund
Currently, the Pillars Memory Care Fund, Founded by Oppidan is able to touch the lives of over 1,200 seniors throughout the Ebenezer system. This fund has been able to provide over 50 different programs since its inception in 2016, and this number is continuing to grow. We are grateful for this opportunity to provide such incredible programming to seniors with Dementia and all different stages of memory loss.
Alzheimer's Association
Oppidan is a proud sponsor of the Purple Gala and Walk to End Alzheimer's. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research.
Polar Plunge
For the last five years Oppidan employees and families jump in frozen waters to raise funds for Special Olympics Minnesota (SOMN). Every year, thousands of individuals jump into freezing cold water to support Special Olympics Minnesota. This simple act affects more than the Plunger – it brings opportunity and inclusion to over 8,100 Special Olympics athletes across the entire state of Minnesota.
University of Minnesota Alumni Association
The University of Minnesota Alumni Association has named the Pillars of Prospect Park its first senior living community partner, reshaping the future of housing in the U's backyard.
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute
The Pillars of Prospect Park is a proud partner with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. OLLI is an award-winning program offering noncredit courses, special interest groups, travel, and events for adult learners.
Gentle Transitions
Oppidan was able to partner with Gentle Transitions to bring stress free moving to it's senior communities.Gentle Transitions stands as a leader in the Senior Move Management field and is one of the oldest and largest companies of its kind in the nation.
Camp Fire
Seniors from our communities are able to participate in activities such as fishing, archery, nature walks, outdoor games, and bonfires with s'mores on an annual outing to Camp Fire Minnesota's Summer Camp on Lake Minnewashta.
University of St. Thomas
Oppidan has been a sponsor for the University of St. Thomas for three years straight. Donating money towards scholarships for kids in the community.
Children’s Hospital
Children’s Minnesota is a nonprofit health system and one of the largest pediatric systems in the country. Oppidan has been a sponsor of their Star gala for 3 + years and has supported their foundation for specific needs.
Rein in Sarcoma
Oppidan has been a supporter of their annual event for 3 + years which raises awareness, shares resources for people with sarcoma and supports cancer research.
